Young Danbury coach charged in drug probe: report

DANBURY, CT – Two people, including a Danbury Police Athletic League youth basketball coach, have been charged in a drug investigation according to a report.

The Danbury News Times reported Samuel Perkins and Kayla Martin, both of Newtown, have been charged in a Danbury Police investigation into drug sales.

A detective told the News Times that Perkins was a youth basketball coach and that officers saw him leaving the Danbury PAL building to do what police claim he was drug traffic.
