Private investigation launched into fatal collision in Essex County that killed a young boy

Ethan Spada’s family has retained the services of the law firm Greg Monforton and associates, to investigate a collision which occurred on November 10, 2021 which claimed the life of the young boy.

Spada, 2, was a passenger in a vehicle that was allegedly struck by an impaired driver at the intersection of County Road 42 and Renaud Line Road.

Mejalli says they are looking to speak to witnesses in connection with the crash, and told CTV News the outcome of their investigation “could lead to a lawsuit for the driver at fault.”

Mejalli says every detail, no matter how small, is necessary.

“They [witnesses] may think it’s minor or irrelevant. But I would ask that they call anyway so we can piece together, not only for any future action but to give this family some kind of closure so they can figure out what happened and how it happened. passed,” says Mejalli.

She says the family is devastated by the loss of a young boy and his mother, Avery Parent, is still recovering from the injuries she sustained in the collision.

“They lost a son. A grandson. [It’s a] a very difficult time,” says Mejalli. “They passed on their thanks to the community. The community has been wonderful to them and extremely supportive and right now they are grieving like any family would and dealing with real hurts.
