On October 12, 2022, at approximately 11:53 p.m., soldiers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of the West Stein Highway in Seaford for a reported home invasion with a shooting where two residents were found injured by gunshots. The victim, a 19-year-old man from Seaford, was shot multiple times in the chest. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Victim identification is pending notification of next of kin. The second victim, a 19-year-old woman from Seaford, was also struck once in the lower limb.
